Congress party leader and ex-UN diplomat Shashi Tharoor is leading India's high-powered visiting team to the United States and Latin America. Supported by youthful dynamic leaders such as Tejasvi Surya and veteran politicians such as Milind Deora, the delegation will bring to light Pakistan's double game on terrorism in the US, Guyana, Colombia, Panama, and Brazil. Their mission? To prove that India stands united across the party divide when it comes to protecting its borders and its citizens.
Baijayant "Jay" Panda, BJP MP and ex-industrialist, is heading a heavyweight delegation to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Algeria. Areas where Pakistan has repeatedly attempted to gain sympathy by presenting false facts. But this time, India's multi-party delegation is equipped with facts, intelligence briefings, and the resolve to call out falsehood. The message is loud and clear: Terrorism has no religion, but Pakistan has turned it into a weapon.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri conducted a comprehensive closed-door meeting with members of the delegation prior to the departure, laying the groundwork for India's global outreach. Politicians from all sides of the aisle, such as Ravi Shankar Prasad, Supriya Sule, Sanjay Kumar Jha, and Shrikant Shinde, were presented with a common mantra to convey to the leaders of the world: Operation Sindoor is not India's reaction, it's the world's wake-up call.
A specially constituted team comprising MJ Akbar, Priyanka Chaturvedi, Amar Singh, Pankaj Saran, and Ghulam Nabi Azad will carry India's message straight to Europe. NCP leader Supriya Sule, Congress MP Manish Tewari, and BJP veteran Rajiv Pratap Rudy, among others, are on a diplomatic tour of Egypt, Qatar, Ethiopia, and South Africa. Along with former diplomats such as Syed Akbaruddin, they will counter Pakistan's hold in the Global South and expose its efforts to deflect from its internal extremism challenges.
